These eight incredible locations will provide tourists with incredible experiences and the best photos for social media.
“Flower” tourism seems to never lose its relevance. People flock en masse to admire the blooming of wildflowers or fruit trees, despite the quarantine, wars and other upheavals.
Traditionally, spring and summer are considered the best times for this. However, since nature has its own laws, it is important to choose the right time to visit a particular flower location.
The world’s largest travel publisher, Lonely Planet, has selected eight tourist destinations in Europe where you can admire the blooming this year.
The experts also determined the best time to travel to each destination.
“Europe’s stunning floral extravaganzas celebrate the changing seasons in the most magnificent way. Sunflowers bow their golden heads under the immaculately blue skies of Tuscany in the summer. Lavender fields stretch for miles, exuding a fragrant scent, between the honey-colored villages of Provence. Roses fill the air with their sweet aroma in Bulgaria. Bells ring out as cuckoos sing, turning the ancient forests of Britain purple in May. Tulips herald the arrival of spring, creating a rainbow of flowers in the Netherlands,” the authors note.
